What I offer

I will draw and/or paint your favs in a realistic style that shows off their personality and emotional dynamic. Fanart, original characters, and even personal portraits (i.e. of you) are all welcome. The rules & process for commissioning me are at the bottom of the page. All commissions will be polished to a level of finish that feels complete and elegant. I offer line drawings and paintings.

LinesPaint
A lively, black-and-white line drawing on a plain background.A rich, full-color painting on a simple, painterly background.

Each commission has a standard offering with a base price, but customization is absolutely available. Let me know your ideas, and I will work with you to price them out. Prices will increase with complexity.

A gnome-sized discount: if your character is a gnome, dwarf, halfling, or other smallfolk, you get 5% off for having great taste.smallfolk fans represent ✌️ there are dozens of us!

Portraits

Base price: $99

A square divided diagonally. Each quadrant shows a different example of a portrait painting.

Base price: $199

Capture the essence of a person in a single image, whether that is a gloomy childhood portrait or a candid shot of them laughing when they don't think anyone's watching. I'd love to bring them to life on the page!Base price covers: a shoulders-up view of the character, not including hands or props. You can pick the mood, colors, and overall vibe of the portrait.

  • If you'd like hands, spells, a half-body view, props, pets, a background, a frame, or anything else not mentioned, let me know. I'll work with you to customize your quote.

  • By default, line drawings are in black and white. Very simple flat shading is included at no cost (see the top of the "lines" example). Working in color or adding more detailed shading will cost a little extra.

  • No full-body commissions right now, just headshots or half-body shots.

Tender Moments

A square divided diagonally. Each quadrant shows a different example of a tender moment line drawing.

Base price: $175

A square divided diagonally. Each quadrant shows a different example of a tender moment drawing.

Base price: $349

Capture the connection between two people. The breath before a kiss, the simple comfort of a hug, or something less sweet: a loathing stare and the tilting of a chin with a knife. Toss me your dynamics, and I'll paint them!Base price covers: a shoulders-up view of two people sharing a close moment, such as a forehead touch or a kiss. Hands ARE included because love is stored in the hands. You can pick the mood, colors, and overall vibe of the piece.

  • If you'd like 3+ characters, spells, a half-body view, props, pets, a background, or anything else not mentioned, let me know. I'll work with you to customize your quote.

  • By default, line drawings are in black and white. Very simple flat shading is included at no cost (see the left of the "lines" example). Working in color or adding more detailed shading will cost a little extra.

  • No full-body commissions right now, just headshots or half-body shots.

A Side of Beans

An image of two cute bean-shaped characters cuddled in a very long scarf. They are thinking the word "WIP".
A cropped screenshot of a comic showing bean-shaped characters from Baldur's Gate 3 encountering a sinister magic mask. One bean is confident he can wear it, and the others are skeptical.

A special commission type for the lighthearted among us. I often draw little bean people as I work on art, and if you order a side of beans, they can be yours. On the side: $15
If you order them to go with another commission, I will include any beans I've drawn when I send you your final art. You'll always get at least one bean doodle related to your prompt.
À la carte: $30
If you order a standalone side of beans, I will cook you up a cute bean doodle based on a prompt you give me. Keep it reasonable; think "side dish" and not "thirteen-course meal."

Future Offerings

If you have an idea that is not covered by the options above, feel free to email me a short blurb. I may be offering more complex illustrations later this year. I've got some ideas in my pocket.

House Rules

  • I will draw humanoid characters, including ones with some animalistic features. Mind flayers count because I love them! However, for now, I will not be taking commissions for mechas or fully animalistic characters. If this changes later, I will announce it.

  • Visual references for your character are required. The more and better references I have, the speedier your commission will be!

  • Content guidelines: Suggestive, yes! Nudity, yes! Explicit sex, no. Bloody and bruised, yes! Extreme violence and gore, no. Harry Potter, no. Feel free to ask me about a topic if you want to check before requesting it.

  • All commissions are for personal use only. Your characters are yours, but I retain the copyright to the artwork I make for the commission. Example: you can print it out to stick on your wall (please do!), but you can't sell prints or use it to advertise your streaming business. That would be commercial use.

  • Be cool. Don't feed my art to AI, crop out my signature, or majorly alter the final piece. Using it as an icon or header is totally fine. Please credit me if you do so!

  • I'll be posting the piece on my socials, but please credit me (with a link) if you post it elsewhere.

  • I may turn down a commission for any reason. If this happens, I'll let you know before any payment changes hands.

Payment and Pricing

  • Payment is handled through PayPal. I will invoice you. Do not send me a payment before we have agreed on a price.

  • All prices listed on this page are for estimation only. Final prices are decided on a case-by-case basis once I have reviewed your request. Prices will follow common-sense rules: the more complex something is, the more it will cost.

  • Visual references are your friends. If I have to do a lot of design work because I don't have references, it will cost extra.

  • Payment must be made up front, in full, before I start working on any art.

  • If you have an idea for a customization that I haven't mentioned in the descriptions, include that in your request! I can price that out for you.

  • If you have paid, and I am (for some reason) unable to complete your commission, I will let you know and refund you.

  • If we have agreed on a hard deadline (meaning a specific date), and I won't be able to meet it, I will let you know. We can pick a new deadline, or I can refund you.

Timeline

  • I take my time so that I can ensure your art is polished and high quality. Depending on the complexity of your commission, expect turnaround to be a couple weeks to a couple months.

  • If there are a lot of people already in the queue, that may also add more time. I will let you know if this is the case.

  • I will communicate about delays. You can also send me an email to check in, and I will do my best to respond promptly.

How to commission me

  1. Send me an email at [email protected]. Include the following information (feel free to copy and paste):

Subject line: @yourHandle commission - [ describe your commission in a few words ]Body:
1. Your info
     a. your pronouns, please
     b. any bluesky and tumblr handles I should tag when I post the piece.
2. Deadlines

3. The commission
     a. What kind of commission did you choose (line drawing portrait, painted tender moment, etc.)?
     b. Did you want any customization, like backgrounds or extra characters?
4. Your vision
Please attach some visual references for your ideas and characters, even if they are just stick figure drawings, picrews, screenshots, or images that have a vibe you like. It all helps!

         - the general composition
         - any other important details
I can make decisions about color, lighting, and composition, if you'd like.     b. Who are these characters? It's easier to draw people when I know more about them. Describe each character, including:

  3. Once payment is received, work can begin!

Commission Stages

Once I begin working, I will provide several check-ins to make sure you're happy with your commission.

  1. Rough sketch: I will make a sketch and send it to you. If there is anything major you'd like to change, now is the time to say so. Big revisions after I have begun linework and/or painting will cost extra.
Major changes: "Can her portrait be in profile view instead of facing the camera? Can they be hugging instead of kissing?" Anything that requires a big redraw is a major change.

  2. Progress updates: I will send you at least one update of the in-progress piece so you can get a sense of the final artwork. This is the time to note any small changes you'd like so that I can work those in. I may send more than one update if I need your input.
Small changes: "Can their robes be purple? Can his beard be scruffier?"

  3. Final piece: At this point, the piece is done and only minor color corrections and tiny details can change. The final files I send you will be the web-sized piece I am posting and the full-sized piece.

  4. Additions: If big details are added to your request after we have agreed on your idea (e.g. "can we make it half-body instead of shoulders-up?" or "can we add in his cat companion on his shoulder?"), that will cost extra. I will invoice you for the difference, and I will continue work after I've received payment.

If I have forgotten or made a mistake about details you mentioned in your original request, I will correct it at no charge.
